Our school reviews focus on supporting improved education outcomes for all learners.
Our approach to English-medium state and state-integrated school reviews is Te Ara Huarau. You can read more about Te Ara Huarau here.
Our experienced reviewers work alongside schools to identify what is working well, and areas that need improvement to lift learner success.
The findings from our reviews feed into a school’s strategic and annual planning, to support equitable and excellent outcomes for all learners.
We publish school reports on our website that are useful for parents, whānau and the community to understand more about their child’s school, and to provide school leaders with actions for improvement designed to lift learner outcomes.
We review and report on schools approximately every three to four years. You can read more about our school reports here.
